Since 2002, Leslie has been teaching at Montgomery Blair High School. She taught high school science, primarily Biology, at all levels, and now is the staff development teacher.
Leslie was elected as an EFR in 2018 and enjoyed improving school climate and working and learning conditions at Blair with staff and administrators. In 2020, she became a building rep and took a more active role advocating for educators throughout the county. Leslie was elected as the MCEA Member-at-Large on the Board of Directors in 2022.
In her free time, Leslie enjoys performing with the community theater group, Bethesda Little Theatre.
