Our historic new union contract was ratified by an incredible 95% “Yes” vote across our entire membership!
As you know, securing this powerful new contract was a hard-fought victory won only through the dedication and organizing power of our incredible membership.
The gains our union has won in this new contract will allow us to chart a successful pathway forward and continue to meaningfully advocate for the schools our students deserve, even amidst the ongoing challenges presented by this pandemic.
We could not have won this contract without the unity and mobilization of our more than 14,000 members. It is not an overstatement to describe this most recent negotiation as one of the most challenging in years – but together, we achieved gains we can be truly proud of.
